Video Game Design with Roblox Studio
- Our video game design courses in Roblox Studio are appropriate for students age 7 – 12. This course builds on what students already know about video games and introduces them to new concepts such as scripting and manipulation of 3D spaces. By the end of the course, students will have built their own Roblox obstacle course!

Without the right instruction it can be, but at iCAMP it’s easy! iCAMP accommodates students’ ages (6-12) with our custom curriculum, tailoring our subject matter to their developmental stage. Also, we hire instructors who are skilled at working with students in this age group and who can explain concepts in ways that children can comprehend. We aim to create an encouraging, positive learning environment for your child, where challenges are fun, not hard.
Is Roblox Safe for Children?
Yes. We use private servers for our chat feature, meaning that iCAMP students can only chat with each other.
Can Roblox Be Educational?
Yes, very much so. The Roblox Studio we use to build our worlds is different from the regular Roblox environment. We use an intensive 3D modeling software that can be thought of as an AutoCad training environment for children. The skills they develop using this software can help them in developing related capabilities later in their education.
