Social Distancing

Masks are required for everyone indoors. Campers are prevented from unnecessary contact and close quarters. Meals are conducted outside when the weather permits.

Daily Health Screenings

Everyone coming to camp is screened daily for signs of COVID-19. We implement temperature scanners, symptoms checks, and free testing for all employees.

Sanitized Environments

Our staff makes sure that all surfaces and equipment are sanitized. Only safe equipment is shared between staff and campers.

FAQ

DO CAMPERS SPEND TIME OUTSIDE?

Yes! More than half the day is spent outside doing STEAM workshops and active summer camp games. The only workshops that are always held inside are hardware technology and software technology.

ARE CAMPERS SEPARATED BY AGE?

Yes! We split our campers up into groups based upon their age. Content and projects are always age appropriate.

CAN I SIGN UP WEEK BY WEEK?

Yes! You can sign up for a single week of summer camp. The typical camper stays for three weeks, but every family’s schedule is different.

IS MY CAMPER GOING TO BE LOST IF THEY JOIN mid-summer?

Not at all! Our program is designed such that every week of summer camp is as engaging and enriching for new campers as it is for returning ones. For topics like coding, advanced projects are given to campers who have more experience.

HOW MANY CAMPERS ARE IN A GROUP?

There can be anywhere from 6-12 campers in a group. We maintain a high staff to camper ratio to ensure each camper receives ample attention during the most challenging workshops.

Who are The staff?

Our instructors are almost always licensed teachers. Counselors are generally college students with a few years of summer camp experience, a STEAM background, or on a education track in school.

can i put down a deposit for the tuition?

Yes! You can secure your spot at our Hamptons Summer Camp with a 50% deposit. Balances are due April 1 and will be automatically charged to the same payment method.

What is the refund policy?

Deposit is fully refundable through February 28 , less a 10% Administrative Fee.  All payments above the deposit are fully refundable through May 1. All enrollments as of May 1 are final and non-refundable. There are no refunds for absences.

WHAT IS STEM OR STEAM?

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEAM adds the “A”, which stands for art and design.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A STEAM or STEM SUMMER CAMP?

STEAM or STEM summer camps allow campers of all ages to explore thought-provoking and challenging topics while simultaneously preparing them for the future. These programs encourage your camper’s natural curiosity, present challenges to be overcome, and provide countless opportunities for creativity.

*To qualify for the local student discount, camper must have been enrolled in a Suffolk County school for two years.
