Digital Designers:

Get ready to unleash your creativity in our Digital Design class! Dive into the exciting world of graphic design as you learn to wield drawing tools and master the technique of layering. Ever dreamed of crafting your own digital comic strip?

 

In this course, you’ll bring characters to life and design thrilling scenes that weave together into captivating short stories. Students will also learn to use the onion skin tool to animate their characters, turning them into a dynamic digital flip book. Join us for a fun-filled journey of creativity and expression!

Minecraft City Builders:

What makes for the perfect city? Is it a city with no traffic? One with the tallest buildings? In this course, you’ll get to design and build the perfect city… in Minecraft! 

 

Students will explore cities and what they require to function. They will look at existing towns and cities and explore what could be improved. Then, they will design and build their perfect cities in Minecraft down to every detail.

Moveable Machines and Hands-on Science

Students will learn about the fundamental principles of motion, energy, and science by creating their own machines and participating in hands-on experiments! Students will be able to identify and create the parts of different simple and compound machines. They will be challenged to create machines and will hone their engineering skills by testing and remodeling their creations! Throughout the course, students will learn more about the chemical reactions, molecules, atoms, and physics that define the world around them.
