STEAM summer camps in NYC that truly teach new skills

A holistic STEAM program where campers learn by doing

Become a creatoriCAMP’s summer programs focus on teaching STEAM topics like coding, robotics, studio and graphic art, science, filmmaking, video game design, 3D printing, and more.

We recruit real teachers based upon their experience, passion for teaching, and ability to make projects engaging. A staff to camper ratio of 4:1 or better ensures campers truly learn and are supported during fun, project-based activities.

Camps are hosted at beautiful independent schools, such as Dalton and Trevor Day. Plenty of time is spent outside in nearby parks playing summer camp games and enjoying nature

iCAMP STEAM Summer Camp

For innovators between the ages of 5 and 13 (grouped by age)

iCAMP’s program has the familiar format and feel of summer camp, but is designed to genuinely teach campers. Each day, campers rotate between workshops led by teachers who are specialists in their topics. Throughout the week campers build upon what they learn each day to build increasingly more sophisticated projects.

Of course, it is summer, so we take multiple trips to the park each day to learn about nature, get some fresh air, and play summer camp games!

Join us by the week or for the whole summer, each week the activities are as engaging for both new and returning campers

iCAMP Junior Summer Camp

For innovators aged 3 and 4

Our “Junior” summer camp program is a hybrid between a STEAM preschool and a traditional summer camp. The day is designed to feel like a day of camp, with plenty of time for play, while also using hands-on projects to teach core STEAM and academic concepts. The goal of each week is to continue each child’s education, while also truly enjoying summer.

We spend about two hours a day at the park playing games, learning about nature, and conducting outdoor workshops. On rain days we play in our indoor movement spaces!

Yes! During each camp day we visit nearby parks to have active fun and play summer camp games. Most of our locations also include a soccer option and have indoor movement rooms for additional active play!

ARE CAMPERS SEPARATED BY AGE?

Yes! We split our campers up into groups based upon their age. Content and projects are always age appropriate.

CAN I SIGN UP WEEK BY WEEK?

Yes! You can sign up for a single week of summer camp. The typical camper stays for three weeks, but every family’s schedule is different.

IS MY CAMPER GOING TO BE LOST IF THEY JOIN mid-summer?

Not at all! Our program is designed such that every week of summer camp is as engaging and enriching for new campers as it is for returning ones. For topics like coding, advanced projects are given to campers who have more experience.

HOW MANY CAMPERS ARE IN A GROUP?

There can be anywhere from 6-12 campers in a group. We maintain a high staff to camper ratio to ensure each camper receives ample attention during the most challenging workshops.

Who are The staff?

Our instructors are almost always licensed teachers. Counselors are generally college students with a few years of summer camp experience, a STEAM background, or on a education track in school.
