iCAMP's STEAM Classes for PS-527 Students!
Become a creator! iCAMP’s after school programs focus on teaching STEAM topics like coding, robotics, studio and graphic art, science, video game design, and more!
During each class students complete engaging and fun hands-on projects that encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem solving. These classes are offered exclusively to PS 527 families and take place directly in the school building.
Each day classes are offered from 2:30pm – 5pm. In order to better accommodate your schedule we also offer an extended day from 5pm – 6pm!

Stars & Cars from Mars
From rockets launching into the skies to astronauts living and working in space, students will dive into the key principles behind space travel. Through hands-on building projects and engineering challenges, they’ll discover how spacecraft function while developing problem-solving skills and sparking a curiosity for aerospace engineering. From constructing vehicles capable of navigating different atmospheres, to engineering their own satellites, students will complete exciting new projects and develop a love for the wonders of space.

Science of Slime
Welcome to the weird world of slime in this chemistry-themed science class! In this exciting

and the unique combination of ingredients that create this captivating substance.

Code Crafters: Code and Conquer Game Design
Dive into the thrilling realm of game design and programming with this dynamic course!
Coders will use key programming concepts and a variety of platforms to develop interactive games and animated shorts. As students advance, they’ll even venture into the world of 3D game development. They’ll learn how to manipulate objects in a 3D space, implement various game mechanics, and respond to player input, eventually recreating beloved classics like Space Invaders and T-Rex Runner in stunning 3D !

Pre and Early Reader Coding: Animals
In this course, young coders will explore the wonders of the animal kingdom through playful
and exciting computer coding activities. Students will assist their virtual animal friends in overcoming obstacles and solving challenges in a variety of age-appropriate coding platforms. As they guide different animals through mazes, help creatures find food, and tackle other problems using sequencing and logic, children will strengthen their computational thinking skills while learning more about both new and familiar animals.

our new LEGO Engineering course! Designed for aspiring young builders, this hands-on course invites participants to recreate iconic structures from Asia and Europe, including the Taj Mahal, Petra, the Great Wall of China, Big Ben, and the Eiffel Tower—all using LEGO bricks. Paws & Claws: Vet Med on the Farm & in the Community
This course provides an engaging, hands-on introduction to the world of veterinary care for a variety of animals. In four unique units, students will explore the roles veterinarians play in
caring for pets, zoo animals, farm animals, and animals within a community. Each week,
students will grow in their understanding of animal health, welfare, and medical care, giving students an inside look at different environments where veterinary professionals work.
