Python For Kids classes allow students to grow their prior programming knowledge while exploring their own design interests. Through guided, interactive lessons, students learn about object-oriented programming concepts and designing their own programs.

Our curriculum


Students will be able to understand the coding concept of objects and identify objects in a Codesters program and make the object complete certain actions ​


Students will be able to understand the coding concept of parameters and identify parameters in a Codesters program and change them to make a sprite change appearance or actions

Variables & Functions

Students will be able to understand the coding concepts of variables and functions, declare variables in Codesters with proper variable names and identify functions and the variables they’re acting on in Codesters ​

Data Types & Boolean Logic

Students will be able to understand the coding concept of data types, identify the difference between integers and strings, implement random numbers in Codesters as variables to start making a game and identify basic Boolean logic statements

Conditional Statements

Students will be able to understand the coding concept of conditionals and if statements, use if statements in Codesters to create an interactive story and identify conditionals in Codesters and state what they will evaluate to in different situations

While learning, our small size group of children get to know each other and their instructors. The teacher uses a shared screen option so everyone can see what she is doing on desktop, and kids can fully participate in the lesson by using the microphone or the chat.
